Tropical Foods will be exhibiting at United Fresh 2011 May 2-5 in New Orleans, LA. The United Fresh convention features thousands of produce industry leaders with an innovative trade show format. Tropical Foods can be found in Booth #836 with tastings of new Garden Chips and a special Dipping Chocolates cooking presentation.
United Fresh’s Learning Centers will have a focus on social media with multi-day presentations on the topic. Social media has become an integral part of Tropical Foods’ current marketing strategy.
“We have been successful in choosing a few social media initiatives that work well for our company,” said Chad Hartman, Brand Manager for Tropical Foods. “Trade shows are a great opportunity to capitalize on the audience and use our social media channels to engage potential customers.”
Tropical Foods uses social media channels daily to communicate with prospects and customers. It has proven to be an effective tool for creating buzz at trade shows. Tropical uses Twitter to find interesting people who might also make good customers. By inviting these people to stop by the booth to meet, Tropical takes the relationship offline.
Tropical will also utilize FourSquare for booth check-ins at trade shows and video to produce live content at the show.
