Tropical Foods has launched a new online store: Tropical’s Nut House. Tropical Foods has been a distributor to health food stores, hotels, grocery stores and more for over 30 years. Tropical’s Nut House is the company’s first foray into direct consumer sales. It is expected that the site will also help drive demand at local retail stores by showcasing special Tropical products.
“It is essential for Tropical Foods to effectively make our products available to consumers on a broad and direct scale,” said John Bauer, President of Tropical Foods. “The e-commerce site for Tropical provides its customers additional ways to shop.”
Tropical’s Nut House offers customers value-added benefits with a customer friendly design format featuring detailed product images and descriptions. The new site creates an exciting shopping destination. The site is building the company’s brand awareness with a new group of consumers who might not have the products readily available to buy in their area.
“This new online store provides a fun way to connect potential consumers to our unique products, bringing them a customized online shopping experience,” said Chad Hartman, Tropical Foods Brand Manager. “Consumers can now shop for themselves and their family and friends, purchasing Tropical products that can be delivered directly to their homes.”
In addition, the new site organizes existing product lines— Buffalo Nuts, Grabeez, Snack Bags, All-Natural mixes and Organic packages—into targeted shopping areas so visitors can purchase products by a specific brand. These streamlined navigation paths make it easier for customers to find the appropriate products in fewer clicks.
