Tropical Foods has launched a new online store: Tropical’s Nut House. Tropical Foods has been a distributor to health food stores, hotels, grocery stores and more for over 30 years. Tropical’s Nut House is the company’s first foray into direct consumer sales. It is expected that the site will also help drive demand at local retail stores by showcasing special Tropical products.
“It is essential for Tropical Foods to effectively make our products available to consumers on a broad and direct scale,” said John Bauer, President of Tropical Foods. “The e-commerce site for Tropical provides its customers additional ways to shop.”
Tropical Foods Leverages Social Media to Create Buzz Offline
Tropical Foods will be exhibiting at United Fresh 2011 May 2-5 in New Orleans, LA. The United Fresh convention features thousands of produce industry leaders with an innovative trade show format. Tropical Foods can be found in Booth #836 with tastings of new Garden Chips and a special Dipping Chocolates cooking presentation.
Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk
Tropical Foods was among the top fund raisers for the 2010 Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk. The money raised goes to three local agencies and Church World Service to provide hunger and disaster relief here in Charlotte and around the world.
