Snacks on a Plane

May 17, 2016

It’s a common occurrence: passengers running through the airport late for a flight, but desperately searching for a snack to grab before they board. There aren’t always enough options to choose when you’re looking for something a little healthier and substantial than candy or chips. Plus, trust me from experience – a specific brand of chips that shall remain nameless does not fly well. Imagine climbing higher and higher in the air as the bag continues to expand bigger and bigger. Might be the most terrified I’ve ever been since a loud explosion noise is really not that welcome on a plane. So take it from me and avoid the chips. People want a variety of snack options in the airport and packaging that can be easily resealed and saved for later. Here are three of our favorite airport snacks that would be perfect to have on the shelf for future hungry travelers.

Dried fruit
Dried fruit is a refreshing and healthier snack option that’s the perfect amount of natural sweetness. There are so many different varieties available to keep it interesting no matter how often you fly.
Personal Favorite: Diced Pineapples

York’s Harvest Garden Chips make it so easy to eat your vegetables. They’re crunchy and delicious, made with real vegetables, but not fried in oil.  They’re available in three all-natural varieties.
Personal Favorite: Okra Snacks

Snack Mixes
Trail mixes are the go-to snack for a lot of people, but Tropical has a huge variety of some of the best flavors to choose from. Even better, Grabeez snack cups make it incredibly easy to grab your favorite snack mix and snack when you feel like it.
Personal Favorite:  Sunburst
